Karev

Karev is an Abajadi native.

He’s s an ancient languages expert, currently heading a team of like minded people at the Heliopolis university under the sponsorship of the Sunshine Corporation. Their goal, decipher the meaning of the glyphs that spontaneously appear on the mysterious circular plane of Archeopteris.

He’s also Mia’s secret boyfriend and the one who taught her the Abjadi language. He’s not her lover or anything like that, it’s just that Mia’s mother is originally from Abjadistan and has awful memories of the place. She doesn’t want her daughter to connect with this part of her history, hence the secrecy on Mia’s behalf since, as an only child with a single parent, she’s deeply attached to her mother.
